1. Daily Project Report(DPR) - Daily Progress Report(DPRs) of a construction site is the day-to-day documentation of the progress achieved in an ongoing project, usually consisting of staff, material, equipment used and progress evaluation. It is the civil work progress report format at the end of a day’s work recording all data involved in the project’s progress. This daily report is done to smoothen operations, track resource usage, and keep the project on track. The report should identify and note all conditions occurring on a construction site in a day.

Daily Progress Report acts as a paper trail in identifying the responsible parties in case of any delays or discrepancies. This report can also be prepared on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis according to the requirements of the project schedule.

2. Material Report - Material reports of a construction project are maintained to keep track of materials procured for different tasks and their availability. Proper resource management and allocation helps to keep the project on track by ensuring that demand is met at the scheduled time. It maximizes the utilization of project resources for all different sites.

3. Attendance Reports - Attendance reports are prepared daily during project execution. These reports are maintained to track labour presence on site during project execution and to calculate wages. Sometimes, attendance reports for labour provided by a vendor also needs to be recorded to finalise vendor payables.

4. Quality Report - Quality reports such as a non-conformance report and inspection test plan are prepared to record several quality processes or outcomes. The sole purpose of these reports is to carry out quality management and quality control procedures quantitatively and qualitatively. The output of procedures ensures that the quality standards are maintained per the guidelines provided by the clients.
               
5. Safety Report - Safety report has to be maintained that records the inherent dangers on site and the maintenance of safety standards. The report allows the contractors to assess the safety issue and assign means to improve the safety conditions. All construction projects must conduct routine safety inspections throughout the project schedule to ensure the safety and health of their employees.

Quality reports must be prepared regularly to track the quality of materials being used as per prescribed standards, so they are done weekly, monthly or quarterly as per prerequisite quality tracking schedules.

6. Detailed Project Report - ‍

Detailed Project Reports are prepared after a project’s planning and designing phase is completed. DPR is an explicit plan for a project, vividly describing a complete programme, prescribed functions, activities and resources required for the project’s success.
